A pair of these 24" by 14" cast bronze plaques were
delivered by us to Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan
for
the naming of the Letterman Barracks in honor of
the individual who revolutionized battlefield medicine.
The plaques shipped 10 working days after our design
was approved by the military.
Because of the poor quality of the original
images of Dr. Letterman, our artist had to redraw
the image in its' entirety. The final image as seen
on the metal photo is a manually drawn composite
of the 2 original images.
